1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice describes how Reverloom Creative Limited("Reverloom Creative", "we", "us", "our"), trading as Inkwell Writer's Studio, acts as data controller for personal data collected through the Service.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: email address, display name, hashed authentication credentials.

3. How we use personal data

  • To create and secure your account and provide the Service (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • To process your requested AI analyses, translations, and proofreading (contract).
  • To operate the community hub and moderate content (contract; legitimate interests in a safe community).
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests; legal obligation).
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries (contract; legitimate interests).
  • To improve the Service and understand usage patterns in aggregate (legitimate interests).
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

4. Sharing your personal data

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:

  • Merchant of Record (Paddle.com): for the sale of subscriptions, payment processing, invoicing, tax compliance, and subscription management.
  • Infrastructure and service providers: hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery providers acting as processors on our behalf.
  • AI providers: when you request an analysis, translation, or proofread, the relevant chapter text is transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate the output you asked for. They act as processors and do not use your content to train their models under our agreements.
  • Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and audit professionals, where necessary.
  • Authorities: where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process personal data outside the country in which you live, including in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or applicable adequacy decisions.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, or for the establishment or defense of legal claims.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure ("right to be forgotten");
